Apple® today introduced iPadTM 2, the next generation of its magical device for browsing the web, reading and sending email, enjoying photos, watching videos, listening to music, playing games, reading ebooks and much more. iPad 2 features an entirely new design that is 33 percent thinner and up to 15 percent lighter than the original iPad, while maintaining the same stunning 9.7-inch LED-backlit LCD screen.

iPad 2 features Apple's new dual-core A5 processor for blazing fast performance and stunning graphics and now includes two cameras, a front-facing VGA camera for FaceTime® and Photo Booth®, and a rear-facing camera that captures 720p HD video, bringing the innovative FaceTime feature to iPad users for the first time. Though it is thinner, lighter, faster and packed with new features, iPad 2 still delivers up to 10 hours of battery life* that users have come to expect. iPad 2 is available in black or white, features models that run on AT&T's and Verizon's 3G networks, and introduces the innovative iPad 2 Smart Cover in a range of vibrant polyurethane and rich leather colors.

"With more than 15 million iPads sold, iPad has defined an entirely new category of mobile devices," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "While others have been scrambling to copy the first generation iPad, we're launching iPad 2, which moves the bar far ahead of the competition and will likely cause them to go back to the drawing boards yet again."

With the new front and rear cameras, iPad 2 users can now make FaceTime calls to millions of iPhone® 4, iPod touch® and Mac® users so they can see family and friends anywhere there is Wi-Fi. Photo Booth lets you apply fun visual effects, including eight photo special effects like Squeeze, Twirl and Kaleidoscope, to photos captured by either camera.
iPad 2 comes with iOS 4.3, the latest version of the world's most advanced mobile operating system, with new features including faster Safari® mobile browsing performance; iTunes® Home Sharing; enhancements to AirPlay®;** the choice to use the iPad side switch to either lock the screen rotation or mute audio; and Personal Hotspot to share an iPhone 4 cellular data connection over Wi-Fi.*** Additional iPad 2 features include a built-in gyro for advanced gaming; HSUPA support for enhanced 3G upload speeds on iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G on AT&T, and HDMI Video Mirroring that lets users mirror their iPad screen on an HDTV using an optional adaptor.

Designed with a unique self-aligning magnetic hinge that makes it easy to attach and remove, the new iPad 2 Smart Cover automatically wakes iPad 2 when it's opened and puts it to sleep when it's closed, and has a soft microfiber lining to help keep the screen clean. The Smart Cover also folds into a stand for typing or viewing videos and is available in vibrant polyurethane for $39 or rich leather for $69 in a range of colors, including a (PRODUCT) RED one which helps support the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Apple also introduced two new apps: iMovie® and GarageBand® for iPad, both available on the App Store℠ for just $4.99 each. With iMovie, iPad 2 users can shoot and edit videos right on their iPad and post their movies to YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and their MobileMe℠ gallery; watch them on their iPod®, iPhone or iPad; as well as view them on their HDTV using AirPlay and Apple TV®. GarageBand turns your iPad into a collection of touch instruments and 8-track recording studio, allowing you to perform with onscreen keyboards, guitars, drums and basses using multi-touch gestures-even if you don't play a musical instrument.

iPad 2 runs almost all of the over 350,000 apps available on the App Store and there are more than 65,000 native iPad apps available from an incredible range of apps in 20 categories, including games, business, news, sports, health, reference and travel. The iTunes Store gives iPad users access to the world's most popular online music, TV and movie store with a catalog of over 14 million songs, over 50,000 TV episodes and over 10,000 films including over 3,500 in stunning high definition video.

WHY BUYING iPAD 2 ? REASON is .........

All around the internet, there have been mixed reactions to last night's launch of the successor to arguably the most successful tablet so far. The iPad 2 debuted as expected, without the higher resolution screen and SD card slot as previously rumoured, but instead with a newfangled cover built-in to the iPad body itself. Newfangled may be too strong of a word to use for a flap secured with magnets, employing the magic of proximity sensors to turn the iPad on and off, but when it's called the "Smart Cover", you can sell it for US$39 to US$69.

Of course there's the design; In tune with the recent Macbook Air minimalistic stylings, the iPad 2 now does certainly look that much sexier boasting a 1/3 slim-down compared to the original iPad and a hair thinner than the iPhone 4.

Let's talk specs for a moment: It's quite obvious that a dual-core processor would make its way into the iPad 2, giving double the processing power and up to 9 times the graphics power for all the sexy games that MAY make their way to iOS. A bump in specs is always good right?

I'm not getting one. That's not to say you shouldn't, but if you already own an iPad as I do, I don't see any good reason to upgrade unless there are iPad 2 specific apps that are developed over the next year or so which completely rock my world. Although by then, the iPad 3 would probably be out already.

I almost never play games on my iPad, i've got my iPhone for that. It's like how I never read stuff on my iPhone, because I've got an iPad for that. I don't think the 2x speed and 9x graphics power is going to help my Magazine/Comics/Twitter/Photo Portfolio/Surfing at all.

I was disappointed with the launch, i'll not hide that. Demo-ing iMovie and Garageband, programs that are honestly best suited for the computer and that everyone is familiar with as well as showing Facetime for the upteenth time like it was the best thing since having a conversation face to face just grinds my gears. I'm a strong believer in having devices that excel at what you use them for, rather than trying to do everything, which I believe this iPad is trying to do.

I'm not saying that the iPad 2 will be a big, fat flop but quite the contrary. At the price point, combined with the fervour of the cultists who will buy anything Apple, they will sell a shit ton of these tablets. Guess what, they will sell a crapola ton of the old iPad too, thanks to people like me and the price cuts of US$100! I'm still waiting for the iPad 3, one that will probably rewrite the tablet handbook as well as Apple can innovate.

Recover Lost Hard Drive Data

Here's the latest free hard drive data recovery program to be offered, and as always I advise you to maintain separate, removable media, to back up your precious digital photo files.

Of course the use of removable media for backup extends beyond your photo files and should include all files that you consider "must haves."

The "iCare", "Data Recovery 3.6" Software, is a bit more advanced than some past free offerings and deserves a look, especially since it's free.

Besides the usual data loss recovery feature "iCare's", "Data Recovery 3.6" Software allows you to recover deleted hard drive partitions, perform "deep scan recoveries" and "format recoveries."

Get your free iCare Data Recovery 3.6 Software before the offer is rescinded at midnight tonight.

Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.

Latest iphone5

New Apple iPhone 5 features and pricing will surprise all of us. Although it is yet to be released and there is no official information about any specific release date yet, but there is definitely a lot of speculation around it. As per the information, iPhone 5 is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2011, coinciding with Apple's traditional June-July and would release of new iPhone models. As far as I'm concerned, January 2011 also seems to be a nice release date. This can also help Apple correct the antenna problem evident in the current iPhone 4. They can also introduce another version 4 with the rectification rather than waiting for fifth installment.
There are reports that iPhone 5 will definitely have an improved operating system, (iOS 5), which will have the ability to access 4G networks. It will also boast of extremely fast processor (1.5 GHz), improved battery life which will have up to 14 hours of talk time on 3G and 7 hours on AG. The fifth-generation model will also have additional carriers apart from AT&T. Verizon is most likely to be another career. Video chat on 3G and 4G networks will also be a reality, which is currently usable only on WiFi. The groundbreaking face recognition technology and high video resolution ability will also be packed with newer features. And to top it all, a powerful 8 megapixel camera is supposed integrated with iPhone 5. The new phone may also have radiofrequency identification as well. Imagine this, with the feature, you can use the iPhone just like use your credit card. If this happens, you can forget about waiting in the queue at the checkout forever. You can simply pay for your items wirelessly by waving your iPhone over the panel. This is the new patented technology that is going to be introduced by Apple. The patent depicts how a powerful RFID loop can be built into the circuitry of the iPhone or iPod touch screen. And that's not all, the next iPhone memory is going to be a gigantic 64 GB. It would also include more storage as against the current capacity of a iPhone 4 which only has 16 GB and set it to GB of memory.
If you thought iPhone for is really sleek and thinner than 3gs, iPhone 5 will surprise you more. It is going to be even thinner than the current one and will have a shiny glass back piece. The screen will be completely scratch and shatterproof. The mobile phone users will be able to assign different tones to different e-mail accounts. True GPS will be built-in too. Don't fret, here's the good news. The price for the iPhone 5 will be very similar to the current price of iPhone 4.
